Casa Petra

This splendid, cosy country house takes its name from the stone that can still be seen today in the walls of the ground floor bedroom; stone modelled by the hands of an expert local craftsman.

It is detached on three sides and looks directly onto the garden, while it also offers views of the luscious chestnut woods nearby that cover the surrounding slopes of the mountains, right up to the horizon where the silhouette of La Verna can be made out in the distance.

Both the lounge and lunch area with fireplace have wooden ceiling beams and simple, Tuscan style furnishings. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double bedrooms, a small single bedroom and two bathrooms, all finely designed with chestnut wood furniture, stone walls and embroidered cotton and linen curtains. The house has a fully equipped garden and a small vegetable garden. There is a barbecue with tables and chairs for having lunch outside and a small patio for relaxing or sipping drinks at sunset.

This house can be rented partially by excluding one double room.
